About · Your longevity physician
Nicholas Cohen, MD
NYU School of Medicine–trained.
Board certified in Family Medicine & Lifestyle Medicine.
Former U.S. Army Ranger, 82nd Airborne Division. Now a physician, board certified in both Family Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine.
My approach is evidence-based, proactive, and personal. I connect preventive screening with a deeper understanding of your body composition, metabolic health, and daily habits—and build a practical plan around what matters most to you.
Knowing what to do is only the beginning.
You may already know what needs to change. Staying up late scrolling. Sitting at your desk for hours. Snacking after the kids are asleep.
The harder part is doing something about it consistently, especially when work and family demand your attention.
Together, we decide where to start and turn what you know into a specific commitment. Then we follow up: what worked, what got in the way, and what needs to happen next.
Accountability with someone who cares.
Former U.S. Army Ranger
Hard things become possible when the objective is clear.
Before medicine, I served as an Army Ranger in the elite 82nd Airborne Division. That experience taught me how to approach difficult work: define the objective, cut through the noise, act with discipline, and keep going when the work becomes uncomfortable.
I bring that same rigor and determination to your care. We identify the few actions most likely to matter, make the plan clear, and build accountability into the process. I will support you, challenge you, and hold your feet to the fire when follow-through matters.
The goal is not intensity for its own sake. It is disciplined execution in pursuit of results that would be difficult to achieve alone.
An ongoing relationship for meaningful change.
In my practice, I find that people make meaningful changes because they know I’ll be there to ask how things went.
Our conversations build on each other. We revisit your commitments, work through obstacles, and adjust the plan to fit your life.
That is accountability with someone who cares. I’m personally invested in helping you follow through.
I practice
what I preach.
I practice what I preach: eating well, strength training, running, and hitting my daily step count. Rock climbing and pickleball keep movement fun.
I make time for the sauna and protect my sleep like it’s part of the job—because it is.
